Who We Are

The Company

Australian owned and managed Imagine Interactive has been producing successful information technology outcomes for clients across Australia since 1996. A client-focused company Imagine Interactive is capable of providing end-to-end e-business solutions.

We have produced online brands, back-end databases and content management systems for the Victorian Liquor Industry Golf Club, Sofitel Mansion & Spa, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Melbourne Park and Shadowfax Wines, as well as intranets and websites for clients including Victoria University and Open Training Services. For Langton's Wine Auctions and Exchange we have developed a custom-built software system that fully manages Langton's business.

Designed and built by Imagine Interactive, Langton's business application and website has been recognised in all of Australia's major national IT Industry awards including being judged 'Best Implementation by a Local Industry Company' in the AIIA (Australian Information Industry Association) Awards held in conjunction with The Australian Financial Review.

Our Team

Peter Jordan

Managing Director

Peter leads the dynamic web development team at Imagine Interactive. With specialist skills in information design and content development he brings twenty years experience as a writer and director to the company.

Several of Peter's scripts appear in the Museum of Victoria's ATOM award winning children's CD ROM Waypoint 1 and he was the director of the Creative Nation funded CD ROM The Living War - Australians on the Homefront 1939-1945. In film and television, his documentary work has been the recipient of national and international awards. He has also directed a number of critically acclaimed opera and theatre productions.

Most recently, he has overseen Internet strategies for Langton's, The Mansion Hotel and Shadowfax Wines. His starting point is the communication objective of each of the projects he undertakes.

Thomas Gruber

Technical Director

Thomas brings to Imagine Interactive a unique combination of managerial and technical skills with over 20 years of experience in software engineering and business consulting, and a solid track record of noteworthy commercial achievements and awards. Microsoft.NET is his specialization and platform of choice.

Thomas holds advanced degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics, including a Ph.D. in Geophysics (computational and mathematical aspects of seismic tomography).

After hours, Thomas is an eager macro-photographer. He enjoys bushwalks, a game of golf, and great coffee.

Emily Waghorne

Senior .net Software Engineer

Emily has been writing dynamic data-driven websites since 1999. A Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) for web applications in Microsoft.net and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), she has a particular interest in software architecture and development as well as in usable design.

Emily holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) from the University of Melbourne, having also studied physics and japanese. As a result of a series of coincidences, she finds herself working as a software engineer and enjoys it immensely.

When not in the office Emily is a keen cyclist and photographer and reads extensively. She also enjoys eating, drinking and spending time with friends and family.

Ray Moon

Technical Services

Following his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 1974, Ray Moon was team leader and design engineer for Email Electronics' development of applications using embedded micro-systems (the first commercial use of fibre-optic communications in Australia).

In the 1980s Ray established software development company Psicomp and in the 1990s was one of the founding team at Sausage Software. In 1997 Ray was headhunted from Sausage by startup company BBL Funds Management, a subsidiary of the Belgian BBL Bank. In charge of IT development for BBL, Ray spearheaded their establishment in Australia and South East Asia.

As well as his wide background in electronics and computing, Ray brings to Imagine Interactive leading-edge experience in the financial services and funds management sector.

Nicole Stewart

Graphic Designer

Nicole brings wide-ranging design experience to Imagine Interactive. Since completing her design degree at the University of South Australia in Adelaide, Nicole has worked in illustration, publishing and corporate design.

She has been senior designer for convergent media company Imagination Entertainment and for Traffion Technologies she has produced corporate identity and branding strategies as well as software interfaces for clients including the ANZ.

Nicole has been designing for the Internet since 1998. She has designed for Langton's and the Museum of Victoria and she is responsible for the online design of historical Bronte House & Gardens in Sydney as well as the official website for British actor Stephen Fry.

Craig Meldrum

Network & Security Engineer

Craig Meldrum is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Engineer with over 15 years experience designing, implementing and supporting computer networks. Craig has wide business experience with a focus on providing total IT solutions.

He has been Infrastructure Team Leader at Alphawest 6 (a Solution 6 company), IT manager for a number of businesses and a professional IT trainer and network support engineer for Excom.

Craig is expert with Microsoft Exchange server, Windows 2003, Microsoft SQL server, firewall and Internet security. His certifications include Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Novell Certified Engineer (NCE) and Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer (CCSE).

Margaret Moon

IT Trainer

Margaret Moon is an IT consultant and computer trainer. She specialises in developing solutions for problems associated with rapid workplace change, especially those arising from the introduction of new technology.

Margaret is able to work both independently and within a team to plan and develop customised training programs. She trains at an advanced level in Microsoft, Adobe and Macromedia applications. For A Right Click, Spherion, Wizard and Concept Margaret has provided IT and computer training for a number of leading corporations.

Her most recent consultation has been six months with Pacific Access (Telstra) working on the implementation, acceptance testing and training of a customised version of the Siebel CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application.
